What is CO-OP Card Alerts?

CO-OP Card Alerts is a solution that allows you to set up transaction alerts based on your preferences from a secure online portal. You can be alerted whenever your registered cards are used. You can choose to be alerted via email or short message service (SMS from #663-68) text to your mobile phone.

How does this benefit me?

  • You can receive near-real-time SMS texts or email to alert you of all transactions made with your registered card(s)
  • Allows you to quickly spot unusual activity or potentially fraudulent activity so you can notify us immediately
  • Provides easy access to manage your alerts preferences anytime via secure online portal


FAQs

No, this is a free service offered by First Financial Credit Union. However, depending on your chosen cell phone plan, your mobile service provider may assess fees for incoming SMS text messages.
You will be prompted to enter your card #, CVV #, name, address, email address, and either your date of birth, mother’s maiden name, or the last 4 digits of your social security number. Once enrolled, you can set your alerts based on your personal preferences.

STEP 1.

Click HERE to enroll and look for the ​'Sign Up' button in the upper, right-hand corner as shown below.

STEP 2.

Enter your card number to begin registration, and follow the process to fill in your card verification information, review terms and conditions and privacy policy to create an account.

Once your account is created, sign in to set your alert preferences.

Step 4.

If you prefer to receive alerts via SMS text on your mobile phone, click on the “Settings” tab (shown below) and provide your mobile phone number and click “Save.”​

Yes, email and SMS alerts will be sent to the email address or U.S. phone number provided during your registration. Depending upon your mobile provider’s plan, fees may be assessed for text messages received.
Simply log into the secure portal ( click HERE ) with your user name and password and click on “Settings” to update your information.
No, only the last 4 digits of your card number will display.
