Standard Fraud Text/Email Alerts

In our continuing efforts to keep your accounts secure, we’ve improved our alert system for potential fraud.

Here’s how it works:

  1. When potential fraud is detected, you will receive an automatic email notification from

First Financial Credit Union, with the option to reply with “fraud” or “no fraud.”

  2. One minute after the email, you will receive a text alert from 32874 between 7am and 9pm, which also has the “fraud” or “no fraud” option.
  3. If there is no response received from you, five minutes after the text alert, you will receive automatic phone calls to confirm or deny fraud.

Remember – our messages will never ask for your PIN or account number.

EMV Chip Cards

We are upgrading our Platinum Visa to include chip technology, also known as EMV (Europay, Mastercard©, Visa©). EMV chip cards will be equipped with enhanced fraud protection that generates a unique transaction code when used at a chip-enabled terminal. The chip safeguards data from being used fraudulently both at home and when traveling abroad.

All loans are subject to credit approval and all First Financial Credit Union (FFCU) policies and procedures. Loan rates are based on credit history, collateral criteria and term of loan. Other terms and conditions subject to change without notice.
1APR=Annual Percentage Rate. The rate you receive depends on your credit history.
2Summer Skips is offered in the months of August and September to FFCU Platinum Visa Credit Card holders who have been in good standing; other restrictions may apply. No late fees or penalty APR will apply. However, finance charges will continue to accrue on the unpaid balance. If you elect to “skip” your August and September payments and make only your minimum payments in the future, it will take longer to pay off the unpaid balance and the total finance charges you will pay will be higher than if you make your August and September payments as regularly scheduled. Call for complete details.
